The Beaded Purse

I finally finsihed the knitting portion of my beaded purse. Taking photos was challenging as the flash caused glare and reflection off the beads and the fabric. The fabric will be the lining, and that is a quarter laying next to it, to give some idea of size. The purse frame is just sitting on top of the purse to show how it will look when it's finished. Once I make the lining, I can sew it to the frame. When it's all done I'll add a photo of the finished project.
The needles I used to make this puppy are next to the purse... size 0000 needles, and I used DMC Perle cotton. Pretty stuff, I hope it's strong enough to hold the purse together, as it's rather heavy for it's size, and my hands are glad it's done! I think the weight was starting to bend the needles.

Hi Patti! Thank you for stopping by and saying nice things on my blog. :) I love "meeting" local knitters! I want to invite you to come to our Saturday morning knitting get-togethers at Wolf Coffee in Healdsburg. Knitters are there between 10 and 1 every Saturday. Hope you can make it! :)
